Jamie Laing: What if he hadn't injured his knee?

Sliding Doors - En podcast av Jennie Becker - Torsdagar

Jamie Laing is an Entrepreneur, Podcaster, Broadcaster, Author and Presenter. He is the founder of the confectionery company Candy Kittens, the Podcast production company Jampot, and is best known for appearing on Made in Chelsea and is now a regular radio presenter on BBC Radio 1. He hosts two chart topping shows: Great Company, and NewlyWeds which he hosts alongside his wife Sophie Habboo. Beyond business and broadcasting, Jamie is an advocate for mental health awareness, and early this year completed 5 ultra marathons in 5 days for comic relief and is releasing his next book ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ out in October.

In this episode Jamie opens up about all aspects of his life, the risks he has taken, the things he got wrong and how he has learnt to grow and believe in himself. His story so far has been one of resilience, curiosity, and the pursuit of passion and he trusts his gut when faced with big decisions. His three Sliding Doors Moment include: getting a knee injury which shattered his dreams of becoming a professional rugby player, deciding to do Made in Chelsea instead of taking a job in wealth management and the moment he decided to follow his instinct and start a podcast which has led him on a journey to fulfill his dream!
