Y'know, hiring the editor of Apocalypse Now to write and direct an extremely depressing grimdark mid-80s sequel to The Wizard Of Oz loaded with tons of horrifying nightmare-inducing imagery and almost zero connection to the 1939 MGM musical everyone loves might SEEM like a terrible idea...
