The History Of Mossbank

Canadian History Ehx - En podcast av Craig Baird - Tisdagar

Mossbank is the site of the first meeting between the NWMP and the Indigenous, with an interesting Indigenous legend surrounding Old Wives Lake nearby. It also features an original blacksmith shop from its early era and was the site of a pilot training base during the Second World War. The most iconic part of its history is the Debate of the Century, which happened in 1955 between Tommy Douglas and Ross Thatcher.
